Situated overlooking the marina. Beautiful setting!. Kitchen area visible ( I like that). Toilets (wc) spotless . We had a shared starter followed by fresh Red Snapper presented with a shrimp sauce and a side of fresh vegetables. We had two Bacardi and cokes and three margaritas during the meal. Finished with sliced bananas covered in a rich chocolate sauce... More

It was our last relaxing supper in N.V. We had wanted to try it last time, but didn't get there. We talked with some people who had been there earlier in the week. We got there, and it was not busy. They did a great job with service, it was a leisurely supper with a nice view We had the... More

We walked from nearby Mayan/Vida Resort to try what some had said was a good spot for tapas. We got there early evening & ordered a mushroom/sausage tapas to start and cocktails. It took quite a while and when the plate arrived, it was barely warm and not flavorful at all. The sausage was much like 'hotdog' quality. We did... More

We waited for 45 mins. for appetizers and another 30 for the main courses and the food was really not great. The price wasn't high, but we won't go back.

This is a tapas restaurant (little plates to share) so you can taste many things. Seating is open air and overlooks the marina. The Ratatouille was one of the best things I've ever eaten, as was the Devil Shrimp (we asked for mild). The shrimp was plump and cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered was over-the-top excellent. The chef is... More

We walked over from the Sea Garden and we were met on the way by a lovely woman that told us about the restaurant. When we got there we explained about my allergy to all nuts and the staff made sure we understood what each item had in it. I had a superb Paella. The cook was from Chile but... More

We are on a two week trip to Nuevo Vallarta and looked forward to at least two or three meals at Quixotes as we had always had a great experience there in the past. However, it's apparent that this is a different place. The new menu has few true tapas, and the food was simply not good. We took guests... More

On a shuttle ride to the main gate at the Mayan Resorts in Nuevo Vallarta, we heard wonderful reviews of this restaurant. Since we wanted to spend our last night walking on the beach and eating at a new place, we thought it was a perfect outing. A short walk along the beach--and we were soon at the Sea Garden.... More

This is a wonderful family owned and operated place in the marina at Nuevo Vallarta. The staff is very friendly, the food delicious, the prices reasonable, the ambience terrific and the Mariachi singer in full regalia had a manly voice and a charming manner. Look for the lady on the street outside the restaurant for a twofer drink coupon. The... More

We walked around the marina to get a feel for what was available. The beautiful portico overlooking the marina, the soft music, and the wonderful, inviting staff made us decide on Quixote's. Our waiter, Gabriel, was like a good butler, there when we needed him, invisible when we didn't. The margaritas and daiquiris were fresh, full of flavor, and a... More
