The gentleman that served us (I think it may have been the owner) was very lovely and the milkshake he recommended was delicious!

Found this place by accident - just wanted a little something. At $13.75 for a sandwich, I though that was a bit expensive. That said.... its Banff, so I guess that is expected. Anyway, the $13.75 is for a meal, the portions are so generous! The Triple is fabulous, and the Montreal Smoked Meat - is authentic! Yummy. At first...

Had the Montreal Smoked Meat... tender brisket and much better than "M.S.M" I had in Ontario. Also had the prawn sandwich without the horseradish sauce. Their sandwiches are worth the money and have premium ingredients. It's down some stairs.
Paying top dollar for take out sandwiches with potatoe chips. Good sandwiches but poor value. Could go to other places and sit in for the same price>
I just discovered this place last month and now I can't stop going back! Best montreal smoked meat I've ever had. May cost a couple more $ than subway, but worth every penny. AND they serve beer!
Were looking for a snack but got a meal! The sandwiches are more than substantial and delicious. Very friendly service. A treat!
Unfortunately the quality of the food and decent service don't make up for the fact that Squish is in a cellar and $13+ is too much to pay for a sandwich. I might have bumped atmosphere up a notch if we'd sat in the lounge, but the value just isn't there.
We stopped here and grabbed a turkey and Swiss sandwich. The turkey and salad was refreshing and was definitely the best sandwich that I have ever had. We stopped by again on the way through. Would highly recommend to break up all the starchy foods of northern America.
Sandwiches were just "meh" and the woman helping us was so obnoxiously rude, it was comical. If a blonde is behind the counter, tread carefully and go to Nourish.
Stopped in while walking through Banff, great food. A little pricy, but nowhere near out of line for the area. Even had huge milkshakes, major plus! Owner was very friendly.
