While my wife was dying from lack of water on the way up---arriving there was a beautiful oasis of being around people who were all enjoying the majestic views, good food(tastes even better after the hike!) and being part of nature. It is worth the hike!!

...But it's a welcome place to crash after a few easy hikes up from Lake Louise. The food is rudimentary but definitely in the comfort food category. Plenty of various teas, pastries, etc. Come early before the crowds come in -otherwise you're waiting a long time to get a seat.

Started off with this hike before we decided to carry on to the six glaciers tea house, and I'm happy we did. Make sure to go round the lake by Agnes teahouse it's well worth it. The hike up isn't too bad, wear sensible shoes and bring a bottle of water and you should be good. Great nature and would... More

This is a fantastic hike to get to the Lake Agnes Teahouse! This teahouse is perched next to Lake agnes, right next to a bit of a cliff with a waterfall flowing over it! You actually walk past the waterfall and climb some stairs to get to the teahouse. It is like something from a fairy tail. It is a... More

It is very cute and almost a walk back in time. It was very nice to have a nice cup of tea and banana bread.

We hiked to Lake Agnes tea house and tea and scones. Then over the big beehive. Then to Six Glacier Teahouse and then back to Chateau Lake Louise. What a great day.

My 11-year old son and my husband climbed up from Lake Louise to Lake Agnes and were delighted to find the teahouse for a pitstop. Good coffee and cakes, I am led to believe! With a fab view. They were there in August 2011...

The hike was tough but I'm glad I did it I guess considering how many people are trying to get tea in a tiny teahouse, they do the best they can. My cookie was $2.50 CAN, but they sorta have the market cornered if you need something to eat or drink. Mirror lake (you see it on the way to... More

We enljoyed the walk up to Lake Agnes, which certainly burnt the calories needed for a cake at the teahouse. The Lake Agnes view is beautiful. We did bring our own lunch, although waited until the teahouse queue had died down, to have some tea and cookies. We did have to wait a long time for our order to arrive.... More
