Too noisy for us on a Saturday night but nice variety of food. He had ribs, I had authentic jambalaya
came here with a large group that kept getting larger this evening, Cat our server did a great job of expanding our table and taking care of the ever changing needs of the group. Had wings to start which were really smokey - never had smoked wings before and they were great, then a ribs, brisket combo - brisket tender,... More
Stopped by Booker's recently for a business lunch. Server was friendly and got us refreshments as soon as we sat down, great start. For mains, jambalaya and spicy chicken. Both were very tasty Great, fun atmosphere. I need to try this place in the evening.
I'm new to Calgary and saw the Bookers tent at BBQ on the Bow. One of the chefs was kind enough to give me a piece of the brisket and it was absolutely delicious. I come from Texas and i know my bbq so i decided to give the restaurant a shot yesterday to make sure i received the same... More
It was all you could eat ribs and crab legs night for 30 to 45 bucks you could get one or the other. I ordered a menu item. Chicken was overcooked, ribs were tough chips were greasy and tasteless. Service was bad too! Slow with refills for the all you can eat People. The bill came to nearly 400 with... More
We've been to Bookers many times before. Tonight, we went for their all you can eat snow crab. When we arrived, there were available tables but the hostess informed us they "were pretty full up". When we inquired about a vacant table on their patio, she said they didn't have enough servers. When we asked about a space to wait,... More
Four of us went here early on a Monday night- one of the all-you-can-eat crab nights($44.99) Unfortunately the only crab on the menu is snow crab- not the greatest- and thus a disappointment. Only one person ordered the crab - they really should have better utensils to crack the crab as the ones offered are not that effective-and the rest... More
I left forty bucks for a $32 dollar meal and didn't get anything back in change.. On top of that all the food was overpriced.. I'm disappointed big time. Never recommend this place to anyone.
The crab was very good and not too salty as is the case with AYCEC. Service was very good and ambience was unique and different. Be early because the stop service right when they say they will. A little noisy on game nights...I know its a bar but still a little too noisy to even hear your friends.
I had brisket with maple and burbon flavour, Awesome! So tender you don't even need teeth to eat it, great flavour. Service friendly and prompt. I'll be back!!
