Nick's is a great place to stop for Alberta Beef! Always has that homey feeling and the service certainly adds to that. The place is looking like it is in need of an upgrade, but otherwise great!

Dining at Nick's is a throw back to the 70's in decor, but don't let that deter you from a great meal. All in my party of ten enjoyed their meals (steak, salmon, pasta, ribs and stir-fry dishes), the service was great and we found the prices reasonable. I ordered the lamb chops, which were done to order and very... More

The restaurant was within easy walking distance from our hotel. The menu was expansive and of good quality. Prices were reasonable for what was provided. Service was GREAT! I'd go there again in a heartbeat.....

For a couples months in a row, we received Nick's takeout / delivery menu in our mail. We tried the first time to order and we told they don't deliver to our area (then why deliver the menu here) then finally we were told they would. As a side note, their online ordering doesn't seem to work so well either.... More

I would not rush to Nick's for any reason, as the food is neither a great value nor is it spectacular. Additionally, the decor is old and outdated and the interior of the restaurant is straight out of the 70s/80s.... That said, the food is pretty decent, the restaurant is pretty unique (no other restaurant like it in the city)... More

Nick's is a great family place and a great place to go on game day. the food is average and the prices always surprise me a little bit, but it is still a good place to go

When we moved here we were staying at a nearby hotel and this was a close by spot to eat. the food was great, our kids loved the pizza. It has a real 70's vibe and I don't think that it has ever been updated but that is okay in this case it works.

Step into the 1970s time machine and enjoy the dining institution known as Nick's Steakhouse. Competent and mature wait staff serve up great steaks with very generous side dishes. I've eaten here many times with many people - never had anything less than "very good" food here. If, however, you are looking for super-attentive staff and nouvelle cuisine, this is... More

The place was OK but we won't be back. The steak sandwiches we ordered we're pretty lame for $23 bucks each and I know there are better places in Calgary for that kind of money. It came out OK, but you knew it had been sitting for a little while and it wasn't exactly huge. The place looked busy and... More
