We have been dining at Nori almost every weekend for a couple months and it is the best food and atmosphere in Nanaimo Hands down! we always get great service the staff is very friendly and Chefs John and Shawn are the best!!! Nori is the best sushi restaurant in Nanaimo, hands down. The food is extremely fresh, the service is excellent, and the creative maki menu is outstanding.

This is a great place for lunch. They have a great price for a lunch bento box. Sean and John are the owners and they're very friendly to you when you walk through the door. You need to go here since Nanaimo is limited to Japanese food.

i ordered a plate of sushi and teriyaki rice, my friend ordered salmon teriyaki. Sushi was ok but teriyaki was really bad. There were not much room for seats and no dividers or screens expose you to next persons can't talk freely very uncomfortable. Service was not sufficiently provided either.
