Fabulous, creative sushi on Davie Street. It may only have a dozen or so tables, but the food easily beats out others for the price. Highly recommended and a great find. Come early if you want a seat!
I am constantly trying different Japanese restaurants along Davie and throughout the West end. I went here for the first time this past week. SOOOOOOOO good!! I am in love with the food and will go back and try some more menu items. Ordered a bowl...lots of veggies, excellent taste. My only complaint is that they charge and extra dollar...

If your not fussy for being in a place less than 15 tables but serves one of the best sushi and sashimi in town with specialty rolls that will make you mouth water and a very very reasonable price, this is the place. Lunch and dinner times are usually packed but come early and you can call this place your...

We went there on our hotel staff recommendation. We were fortunate to get a table right away since we went late (about 8 PM). The restaurant is very small and people sat very close to each other. But the food was great, at very good price. We spent only less than $60 on food for family of 5. The salmon...

Don't be put off by the typical big- city sidewalk rush-in lunch spot atmosphere, Kadoya is terrific Japanese food at a reasonable price. Generous servings of well- prepared sushi, sashimi, and bento boxes mean you will see several patrons taking leftovers home in a bag for a snack. Try the Snow White roll , it is different and tasty with...

Ordered bento box as well as sample platters. Beautiful, fresh, fantastic flavours. Good value for amount of food. Accommodated a vegetarian with some non-fish options. Staff busy that night with take-outs so service slow. Good to get there before 6:30.
There are two locations Downtown. One right beside English Bay and one on Davie Street. After I moved away from Vancouver Kadoya was one of the places I missed the most. I occasionally get cravings for their spicy salmon sashimi which comes with tiny chunks of garlic and green onion and the most delicious spicy sauce I have failed to...

I always include a stop at Kadoya's every time I'm in town. I've brought many people with me for first time visits and have converted them all. Never disappoints.
I ordered the dinner box with udon noodles and tempera. I like bento boxes for their variety. The tempura batter was light and crispy and NOT greasy. There were also 3 tuna and 3 salmon sashimi and six different sushi. The fish portions were generous, melt in your mouth (though firm NOT mushy). It also came with a cold rice...
