The Slainte is not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Once you get in, there is traditional pub food and many other options and interesting spins on regular menu items. We had very good service from Haley and enjoyed our Shepherds pie and Dublin Bridie. BTW...the french fries are exceptional!! The Slainte is... More

Slainte is in a beautiful old stone building that was once a coffin factory. Warm wood tables, a painted floor and interesting lighting create an inviting space. The chalkboard tells you that the burgers are handmade and many other items come from local producers. Desserts are house made. We were offered a sample to try an unknown (to us) draft... More

We went here on a Saturday to celebrate the kids winning their soccer play off match. Great atmosphere. Kids made to feel welcome too. Decent food, great service and good beer. What's not to like?

I visited this place on March 15th, 2013 to get a head start on the St. Patrick's Day celebration. My daughter and I did a little research and found this place for it's history. We were not disappointed. The owner was a gentleman and recommended the beer which was so delicious. We enjoyed the busy atmosphere and sat at the... More

Awesome place! Nice city location not too far from other bars. Lots of fun, can get very busy though.

Freshly prepared great food. Excellent service and interesting old Irish pub decor. Highly recommend -the fresh cut fries + lots of draft beer choices.

We walked here for dinner (5 adults, 4 - 9yr old boys) from the Crowne Plaza Hotel on a Friday Night at 6pm. The place was busy, but they quickly pushed tables together and made room. The service was quick and efficient and within 5 mins of sitting we all had drinks in front of us. We were very happy... More

Went with my wife for our anniversary, romantic right? wrong! we asked to sit somewhere a little private for our big day and were seated between the only two full tables in the place. We might as well have been a part of one party or the other. After reading the menu, which boasted being fresh and house made, I... More

I have been going to Slainte since it opened, the food has always been good, they do try and pour a good pint but it's a rush job most of the time. In the late 90's the pub was great, it hosted Irish music regularly and was the "go-to" place to hear Irish music like The Mahones, Tip Splinter, Great... More

We went to this restaurant prior to going to Theatre Aquarius as they offer discounts before going to the Theatre. This was our first time trying this restaurant out and I will never go back there again. There were not many people at the restaurant at 6:00 p.m., however, it took 20 minutes for a waitress to come over to... More
