If you set your mind on a rib platter, skip appetizer and dessert altogether. Ribs are their best feature. They fall off the bone and are really tasty.
As I waited for my colleagues to join me, I was seated near the Hostess post at the front entrance (door to Yonge Street). The phone rang - obviously the caller at the other end of the line may not have been very polite and hung up. This started the rhetoric from the 3 hostesses who were standing there with... More
I ate at the Baton Rouge at the Eaton Centre this week and had the best Calamari I have ever had, so fresh and spiced lust right so good. I also had the Linguini and it was great as well, good service, great atmosphere and food, will definitely go back.
We ate here twice, so can recommend it. Good atmosphere and friendly welcome. Greeted at table with glass of iced water (why don't they do this in the UK?) and cheery waiter who seemed genuinely interested in providing good service rather than just going through the motions. Absolutely no problem with the food which was delivered to the table hot... More
This restaurant was across the street from our hotel which is why we chose this one. The decor was very nice. I wanted a change to an offering on the menu and our waiter was able to suggest something that was just perfect. We enjoyed this very much.
Delicious dinner- I had the prime rib & my husband had the ribs. Reasonably priced & close to our hotel. The staff was attentive and kind. I definitely recommend it!
located on the periphery of Eaton center, place was quiet (early evening, mid week). Large menu choice but most seemed to be less than healthy. Salad choices were fair, but expensive and had unhealthy items included. Very little basic nutritious fair but food was great (if a fatty treat). Serving sizes were good, prices were comparable. Creepy server (male) kept... More
Both the quality of food and service are average at best at this restaurant. Its surprising it has lasted so long in downtown Toronto considering how many options people have in the area. The prime rib was dry and the french fries soggy. The prices are comparable to The Keg which is much better in quality and service and only... More
Lovely welcome by the hostess at the front desk. Not busy as this was Labour Day. Drink were basic but got mixed up much to the surprise of my son who got tonic water instead of 7up. Caesar salad was passable. Lettuce crisp but We got dry sprinkled parmesan when next table got fresh was strange. Croutons out of a... More
Food of good quality and the atmosphere was good but groaned at the size of the portions. I hate leaving food and it goes against the grain but I really struggled to do justice to my plate and left. I really felt like asking for a child's portion but not sure I would have been accommodated.
