Description: Family owned Italian/Continental fusion restaurant. We have been a staple in the Yonge and Wellesley community for the past 13 years. Just recently we underwent a major renovation courtesy of the TV show Restaurant Takover on the Food Network. Ambiance is elegant and classy without being pretentious or stuck up. Our exceptionally-trained staff provide our guests with fast and efficient service while ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, never rushed. But most importantly, they make sure our guests feel welcome in our home.

We had a large party (~22), but we had made reservations weeks ahead, so it wasn't as if they weren't expecting us. We started out with ONE server working our table, and we began to fear we would never receive a menu, much less a drink. We waited for perhaps 45 minutes to get drinks and menus. Then another, seemingly... More

I went to Brownstone's on a Sunday, "Steak night". At 5:30, almost all the steaks were sold out except the most expensive cuts. That wouldn't be a problem if it was good quality but the steaks we ordered ($27 each) were very poor. The soup i ordered was brought out cold. My friend ordered medium well and i ordered medium... my family and i had the worst restaurant experience of our lives here - starting the night excited to spend time together celebrating an early mothers day, and then leaving practically in tears. right from the start, our waiter was incredibly rude - the restaurant was empty so we requested a table not under one of the low vents -... Decided to have dinner at the Brownstone for my wife's birthday and right from the get go I knew that it would not be something special. Upon entering and informing the manager of our reservations we were pointed to a table with two menus on it. Upon sitting down it was at least 20 minutes before our dink order was... More

Hi, Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the lack of response you received in regards to your evening. Unfortunately, the individual who usually deals with such matters was ill for a few months and is currently making their way back to the restaurant. I cannot emphasize enough how sorry we are about your poor evening. As you noticed, we do... More

Our last visit was the last straw... bad news. Started with them not having our reservation. Turns out that when you make a reservation online you STILL need to phone to confirm it. What's the point? They did squeeze us in, but we sat by the door in a very drafty area. The waiter was great, very busy but very... More

We had made a reservation well in advance. When we arrived ( a few minutes early), there was no hostess to greet us at the door. Instead we had to flag down a waiter, he barely responded to us and continued on his way. The restaurant was full so when seats became availiable at the bar we thought at least... More

My husband and I dined at this place few days back. It was very crowded, as many people were having dinner before some comedy show. Seeing so many people encouraged us and we were really looking forward to try the food. First we were sitted at the bar. The "bartender" was literally all over the place. There were different bottles... More

Hi, To begin, please allow me to apologize for our slow response. Unfortunately we have had some internal issues which have resulted in a lot of staff moving on or being away due to illness. Regardless, this is no excuse and we apologize not only for the delay in response, but also your negative experience. We are also sorry for... More
