Description: Critically acclaimed to be among Canada’s best restaurants, Canoe's unique location high atop the TD Bank Tower affords a breathtaking view of the city and Lake Ontario. The design, originally conceptualized by noted designers Yabu Pushelberg and most recently refreshed by Anacleto Design, is clean and simple, yet absolutely stylish - a brilliant reflection of Canada's rich raw environment. That same brilliance is captured through the flavours and textures of Chef Anthony Walsh and Chef John Horne's inspired regional Canadian cuisine. The menu showcases the freshest and finest Canadian fish, game and produce, as well as an outstanding selection of Canadian vintages. "All that is Canadian defines Canoe." The service and food were excellent. Had a lovely table by the window, but even the tables on the inside area looked very nice. Food was superb. Portions were nice... Not too big not too small. If you order an entree, a main, and a dessert you will leave feeling satisfied but not too full. The different flavours on each... More

Great attentive staff, delicious food, waiter really knew his stuff. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner here immensely. Would recommend to all. It is pricey. Entrees 30-50, drinks/ wine by the glass 15. But for a special night it is well worth it. It is highly regarded for a reason

Went to Canoe for a business dinner and was immediately impressed with the view. Being 54 stories up I guess it should be expected. When I was there the theme of the menu was trees. That meant somehow something derived from a tree was being incorporated into each dish. In some cases that was maple syrup other cases pine needles... More

I frequent canoe on a weekly basis on the bar area and have the great bar nibbles as well as the wine. I eat lunch or dinner on a monthly basis as well. The entire experience is always fabulous.

Canoe is always excellent. Of my dozens of meals there, I have never once had a complaint. The chefs are world class and the servers are top shelf. The view can't be beat! I recommend calling for a reservation along the windows. This is a perfect "expensive night out" option. Anniversary, birthday etc. is a great reason to go. The... More

Perhaps the best meal that I ever had in Toronto. We went to Canoe for lunch. We reserved a table by the window. The day was so clear that you can see Niagara Falls. The portions are the right size if you order a starter, main and dessert. Each of our dishes were very well prepared and tasty. The service... More

We were in Toronto to celebrate our daughter's birthday, so we took her, her boyfriend and my mom out to Canoe. As with any view restaurant, I was aware that we may just be getting the view. Boy, were we happily surprised! The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Class but not condescending. It's definitely expensive, but well... More

The view is fantastic, but the service and food far exceed it--both were nothing short of superb. I don't actually think we paid for the view, because the they would have been worth the price on the ground floor. Friendly, non-condescending (think somplace like Nice or Paris), and yes, expensive, but well worth the price.

Here you pay for the view besides the food. Ambiance is clean, neat, very good. Food is very good. Service is very good also. Everyone treats you well, exactly what you expect in a restaurant like this one. Parking is the problem in downtown Toronto, specially in near the financial district.
