Reserved through open table and the staff was very accommodating to make sure we stayed on time for a show. Food was very good everybody had something different and really enjoyed the food quality. Our server suggested the Portuguese house wine and it was really a nice match with the food. We really liked how our server let us know... More

I love the food here (very good quality), and I love the service!! Very professional but friendly as well. This is my first choice for a beautiful summer night out on the (very) small sidewalk patio with a wonderful glass of wine, the BEST grilled calamari in the city and some people watching. I keep going back again and again!... More

I have been to this restaurant on 5-6 occasions, most recently in April 2013. The menu is relatively small but there are always interesting nightly specials. Prices are relatively reasonable. While the restaurant claims to be Portuguese, I would call it small "p" Portuguese. Appetizers are very good (not outstanding) and I would classify the main dishes the same way.... More

I've been in this restaurant 4-5 times and I ate different dishes. Everything was always good, medium/high quantity. They offers you olive oil, olives and very tasty bread as a small appetizer. Waiters are nice and kind.

Went here with a group of colleagues for supper. We had a private room in the wine cellar which was pretty cool. The service was exceptional. Our wine glasses never went below half. The food was just ok . I had the steak as my entree, a curry coconut soup as my appetizer and chocolate mousse for dessert. There was... More

I went to Adega with a girlfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and seating is well thought out and not too crowded.Service was attentive and the waiter was knowledleable about all of the daily specials as well as the wine. We both took advantage of the Prix Fixe menu and were not disappointed. We also... More

My cousin and I tried Adega before going to the theatre to see the Wizard of Oz at the Mirvish theatre on Yonge Street. I made a reservation online and promptly received an email confirmation the next day. We wanted to have an excellent dinner and be within a 10 minute walk of the show. We arrived when the restauran... More

Adega is a cozy family type Portuguese restaurant located in a restaurant alley. The decor is simple and warm. Went there with a party of 10 persons and we all enjoyed not only outstanding meals but excellent and attentive service. The menu is not extensive and surprisingly lacked the staple Portuguese cod dishes; inquired the reason why and was told... More

Good restaurant, Italian food was very nice, portions were just right and the service was excellent. Nice change from noisy busy bar type restaurants. Worth giving a try!
