We went here for the Mother's Day lunch. A little tricky to find the entrance, but worth the effort. Service was impeccable, but the food came only luke-warm, though very, very tasty. When we mentioned this, there were apologies all round, a big reduction in the bill and some excellent chocolates, by way of compensation. Really well handled, and we'll... More

My first time at the George, having lunch with business collegues. I had great expectations knowing that it was part of the George Brown culinary program, and the success they already have with their King Street venue. Found the dining room to have great atmosphere and it wasn't too loud which facilitated conversation. A la carte and the featured dishes... More

An impressive restaurant. Not inexpensive, but good value for money. Very good food, a fine wine list and a sophisticated but laid back atmosphere (though the background music, which would not be to everyone's taste, got a bit loud toward the end of the evening). The standard menu offers 3 courses and our server said that all three would amount... More

We attended a Vintages “Tasting Stars Champagne Dinner” at “George Restaurant” on March 06, 2013. We had never eaten there before, but were quite looking forward to it as we are Champagne Lovers!!! We had THE BEST DINNER and THE BEST CHAMPAGNE!!! Our Appetizer was “Cobia Sashimi, Celery Salad, Mango”, which was delicious, and beautifully presented!! Served along with this... More

We enjoyed 3 1/2 hours of amazing creative food wizardry. 20 different plates, all winners. Wine pairings and cocktails were similarly enjoyable. It was excessive and not something to repeat often, but a great way to celebrate.

A night to remember. Romantic. Sophisticated but simple decoration. Outstanding food. One of our best meal in years. Certainly, one of the best restaurant in Canada. Don't miss it.

This was ... well, it was fine. But I've eaten much better food, and felt much more alive about it, in a variety of restaurants all over the world. Our 4-course meal was ... well, it was loud, it had drinks that were over-hyped, it had excellent, really terrific carta di musica (the waiter called it crack bread), it had... More

My husband and I visited George on a Friday night for his birthday. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was just perfect. Service was attentive and attentionate without being intrusive, exactly the type of service we like. We had the 7-course tasting menu which was fantastic. The two of us were presented with different dishes for each... More

I have been looking forward to going to George restaurant for some time now. The visit was another stop trying to go to as many highly rated restaurants in Toronto as well as any other City we visit. I'd like to have that perfect food experience at some point soon. I can be classified as a foodie as were most... More

We visited George on a Saturday night and we loved it. Sure its expensive, but so are all other restaurants with the same kind of food and service. We tried the 5 course, each of the dishes were better than the last. We do recommend this restaurant, enjoy!
