Love the after 9pm menu! Had the muscles and my boyfriend some type of fish cake. Both were excellent For main meal, I had the salmon tartar and he had the beef tartar. They were good, not out of this world but still good. I would return

If you are on a diet, be advised: the devil resides on Laurier! As anyone who has been to Chez Leveque will know, the second floor is a vast improvement over the ground floor in terms of noise, personal space and light. The food tastes better somehow. The Table D'hote menu offers many excellent choices. My guest was sad that... More

The atmosphere old fashioned and the tables a bit too near but the staff and service is professional , The food oustanding from les amuses gueules to les mignardises, every services attratively presented and as good as it looked , We had not been Chez Levesque for a number of years but is now on top of our list for... I love it! The service makes you feel like a king, and the food is really good. The menu du jour is always enticing. I love the salmon tartar. Tables are a tad close, but upstairs - when available - is quieter and roomier.

Play second best brings its own kind of rewards. It is a tough environment to open a restaurant opposite of LEMEAC on Laurier west in Montreal especially if you intend to offer the same kind of French food. By many accounts including mine, LEMEAC is best. CHEZ LEVESQUE markets its restaurant in a clever manner with lower prices. LEMEAC offers... More

We particularly enjoyed the very professional service , availability of the staff to ensure comfort and rapid response , all this offered with a discrete sense of hunour, continuous smile and team work. Chez Lévêque (no, there is not supposed to be an "s" in the last name) changes its menu with the seasons. We ordered different selections from the chef's menu, and all courses were good. I particularly enjoyed the combination of textures and flavours in their veal brains and sweetbreads dish. The rest of the menu was imaginative, yet still included... More

A good place to eat for a casual meal. Food is good, service is nice and prices are reasonable. Like it a lot for small meals as my experience for a complete dinner was not grat so am careful about ordering.

This is a great place for a casual upscale meal. I highly recommend coming after 9pm for their late-night menu (21 dollars for two courses and 6 dollar drinks). Even if you come outside of this time, it's still wonderfully priced for the quality of food you're getting. The deserts are wonderfully tasty, rich, but not overly so, and the... More
