I absolutely love the Konga Cafe. I take all my out of town friends here and insist on going every year for my Birthday. The staff are wonderfully warm and friendly and the food is incredible. Seasoned to perfection every time. I often have people think they won't like it because they "don't like spicy food" but spice fearers need... More

Visited friends in Saskatoon on March 2013. Did not want the usual food fare, wanted something unique and different...so our friend took us to Konga Cafe (a Jamaican restaurant)! As you get there, the area is kinda "iffy" then when you go in it is still questionable. But as you wait to order, the atmosphere felt warm like the caribbean... More

We were back in Sasaktoon and looking for something different. Boy did we find it! Konga cafe reminded us of our favourite warm weather retreat, St. Maarten. The johnny cakes were fabulous, the curry shrimp was flavourful and just right for spice. But be warned, the sweetfire pork is HOT, but still very flavourful! I would not recommend this to... More

Had a fantastic meal here, friends have told me about it and we went on a cold and snowy night after a real long day at work. Very good, Has a neighborhood diner feel, staff were super friendly and welcoming. Caribbean style menu, O had ribs which were huge and perfect. Rustic style did not disappoint. Highly Recommended.

The Konga is a very small hole in the wall restaurant that oozes a aura of homemade, down-to-earth Canadian Caribbean cooking. Because it's so small, you have to go at off times to get a seat. It is a popular place because the food is so great. It is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The tastes are exquisite, drawing... More

Good food, friendly service and a unique dining experience. We discovered Conga Cafe a few years ago and have been back many times. Nothing fancy and the location leaves a little to be desired. Family owned business and well worth a try !

I had heard all sorts of great things about the newish ethnic restaurant in Saskatoon - I just had to try it out for myself. It was a big disappointment. My wife and I ordered the classic Jerk Chicken and a Konga burger. If there is one dish that a Caribbean joint should do right it is Jerk Chicken. The... More

Loved the spicy peanut shrimp dish. I had mine with the regular vegetables and chose the rice and beans option. It was a perfect portion size for me and the service was also great. Don't be afraid of the location and the exterior, it's worth it inside.

If you are looking for some amazing food in a laid back atmosphere this is the place for you!! Curried shrimp is my absolute favourite, but if they are offering the mahi mahi special it trumps all! Make sure you have a chat with Eddy while you are there, he will probably be mixing your drinks or dreaming up some... More
