The place is dirty, run down and the food is even worse. We tried Amigos years ago and it was bad, I thought we'd give it another try. Lousy food & service, overpriced and I'll never go back . Fooled me twice, shame on me!

I would have to say that the decor definitely could be improved. It's like visiting a small town bar. BUT the food is so good, so cheap, and you get lots and lots of it!
Good selection for food. Took a Mexican friend there and he said the meal was just like how his mom made it. Priced well. Evening entertainment does happen and the restaurant is more of a cantina then (underage costumers not usually allowed at that time).
They have the best Denver Sandwhiches ever! I love denvers and here they put lots of melted cheese on them and they just melt in your mouth! They go great with a pint of O16 ;)
The servers are always friendly AND they actually smile! Huge thing for me and customer service! I'll definitely go back...especially for that Denver! I've...

The portions of food are good and the atmosphere is quite good but the decor could change a bit... It seemed quite dirty everytime I was in there.. with some sort of permanent "stench".

The menu is...

I only went for supper because of a no minors after 8:00 rule, but the looks of the coming rents posters show this place up as a great music venue. Prices are reasonable, they have local beer on tap, and the food was great. Extra bonus? A kids menu in a funky venue with good food. Sweet.
People seem to love this place, why? It always stinks like old beer and urine. Food is piles of poorly produced crap that will likely make you sick. Shows start to late but pretty good sound, guess thats and up side.
We've been going to Amigos for 20 years. It fits us just as good now - when we come with our 8 year old and his grandparents - as it did as on our first crazy date.
The food is reliably delicious and satisfying - everything on the menu is a good choice, whether you need something deep fried, spicy...

We have a big group and are often sitting in the back, alot of people yes, but lots drinking with money to spend. 20-30 minute waits...
