This was our first Indian meal outside the UK and we were delighted to find the food here even better than good UK Indian restaurants. The service was good and we were very happy to save money by taking or own wine and just paying NZD6 corkage.

This is a most authentic Indian restaurant with a staff that know how to use the tandoor well. Well priced, even with rice priced separately. Wide ranging menu and nice local wine list. BYO with a $6.00 corkage charge. Commendable service. We would definitely return. This restaurant is an asset to Havelock Nth.

Took my parents for maybe there first full on Indian curry experience. Started with a chicken tikka then had a lamb and beef curry (nothing too hot) with traditional naan bread A great success and maybe even a return visit from my parents when they again get adventurous. Food was very good and authentic tasting

Purchased Indian takeawy here for dinner one cold winter evening. A little staggered at the price, but the naan, dips, Vindaloo and Butter chicken were all supurb...!! Worth the high price, and certainly the best Indian food I've had outside of South Auckland, which is spoiled for choice.
