Pavones is an interesting beach. It is a World Class surfing spot with no-ending lefts. The Castillo is a funky Inn on a hill with an incredible view, high-end/funk decor and an excellent restaurant. You're in this eclectic, wonderful, clean, safe jungle environment and one flight of stairs leads to a great dining experiece. This restaurant came highly recommended by several people in the area and we went with the intention of treating ourselves to a great dinner. Unfortunately, it ended ona sour note. Food is gourmet, view is amazing, owners and employees are very nice and helpful. It truly is an incredible place with great atmosphere, you will leave stuffed and happy.

Once again we came back to Castillo De Pavones in July 2010 and had a wonderful time. Our new trip was even better than the last.
