Carlito makes very good creative foods, but be prepared to pay San Francisco or Portland prices....not the usual Baja deals. But interesting and delicious.

We went to Carlitos Place after hearing much ado about it. Very tasty, very authentic, and the atmosphere was great, prices were like the city to be sure, but you won't be disappointed! Carlito and Brinda were great and we loved King Kong, the little black pug.
Re-visited and just HAD to have the stuffed peppers ~ been dreaming about them for months! Do yourself a favor and make sure you eat here at least once while in the area. :)
A wildly pretentious eatery with mediocre food and New York City prices. Located on a dirt road in a barrio and totally unprotected from the elements as all seating is outside. Don't go on a windy day; in fact don't go at all.
I hate to see a place charge New York prices in an area like this. The food was fine and creative, but WOW...this is a T-shirt and tacos kind of area and if you wanna serve fine food, it shouldn't break the bank !
The food here was very good and well prepared. We were a little surprised about the high prices when we got our bill, but overall enjoyed the experience.

The owners have a lovely dog named 'King Kong' that seems to run the place. We are dog people so we loved this, but the owners were constantly asking if...

We had a very good experience at Carlito's Place.
You can tell that Carlitos, the chef /owner feels very passionate about cooking. He is a very talented chef that uses only the freshest of ingredients. His cuisine of mexican with asian influence is delicious.
The atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant is under a beautiful palapa. It can get a bit...

Dropped in for an early dinner on the way to Todos Santos for the Music Festival and were the only customers - wonderful!!! After a warm welcome from King Kong we continued to be treated special. Carlito waited on us and not really knowing what to expect he asked us if we wanted to do it "Carlito's way". We said...

HOWEVER, it was a little over priced for what we ordered. We actually stumbled upon this restaurant in Pescadero and were very surprised at the great ambiance and the fact that is it a Sushi bar and Asian Fusion restaurant. The sushi menu mainly consists of rolIs and there is not an actual sushi bar there, but it is very...
