Good food, good value. Selected the 24 euro menu. Amazing foie gras and superb wine selection. Would definitely go back next time I am here in Garonne

We stopped here whilst boating down the Garonne because of the reviews. Perhaps we were late in mealtime, or because it was Sunday, but the "Buffet" looked unappetizing and there is little atmosphere. We weren't offered a menu. The mussels looked to long since cooked, and the other items also had been out too long. We ordered wine and appetizers...

I went there this evening as it's our last night of holiday and the gite is now empty of food.... What a disapointment,. I was relying on the glorious reviews from other travellers and I regret to say that if this is the best restaurant you've ever been to, you have led a sheltered life! The service is poor (the...

This restaurant was on my list of places to try, and it did not disappoint!!! There are four fixed price menus to choose from, each one tempting and delicious! We chose the lowest priced one . A wide choice of appetizers, all good. For main course, my wife had the manchons de canard while I had lapin. Hers was better....

Just ate in Le Vignero and we were not altogether happy. There is an extensive menu, but the quality of food does not live up to the restaurants reputation. I ordered the lamb, which happened to be extremely fatty, but all in all, quality versus cost in Europe we have to accept that it's not bad value.
As this region in the Lot et Garonne has been my holiday destination of choice for whole my life, I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a child, and I am glad that now I can take my own children there. Food is always good and offers exceptional good value for money. The set price menus are in...

Really good value for money. We paid 24€ for a menu with Foie Carpaccio starter, Magret (duck steak) main course! And trust me when I say that the food couldn't have been prepared better! And then for dessert we could choose any two desserts from a choice of about 10 all on a big trolley tray! Mouthwatering!!!
The best value we have seen in France - 14.90€ for an amuse bouche, soup, entree buffet (or choice of other entrees), main course (I had sautéed veal heart just like my Mother used to make - except for the green peppercorn sauce) and an incredible desert trolley - whew! Also reasonably-priced local Buzet wines.
Our group of four dined here twice on our canal trip back in 2009 and we had a great experience both times. They had a buffet station of sorts for the appetizers and you could pick whatever you wanted to eat. The menu was priced fairly and the entree choices were quite tasty. Service was excellent and friendly. Hope to...
