This place is one of several (7?8?) in Nelson. We hit it up as part of our beer tour of Nelson, and we're glad we did. The staff were super nice and helpful, and we ended up getting a flight - of all the options! That's 18 beers. T'was awesome. A true local joint.

Feels like a proper pub with a really decent selection of home-brewed beers - they'll even let you taste a couple before you decide. Food (pie and chips) was good too.

Not the easiest place to find, just going into this place could be a problem if you are nervous about walking into dimly lit bars where you don't know what you will find.
