We work looking for fast and easy dinner possibilities and tried it out. The place oozed with local charm and the layout was unique to say the least. Staff were excellent and responsive, prices were great and the pub food was delicious. We'll be back!

This place is a typical bar with pub food. Burgers, salads, etc. Our waitress was great, my burger was good and my husbands salad was excellent. Good beer on tap.

The Golden Taps is what you can expect from a small town bar. Good crowd, nice service and delicious food! They hold musical acts every other weekend including an amazing Open Jam night by local legends. Definetly a place to have a pint if your passing by on the #1 trans-canada highway.

perfect spot for a burger and beer. Small, friendly service , good food. After a long journey this was a great place for my wife and I to have a chat about the day and enjoy a beer. Good prices

The food is always fantastic and the prices are more than fair. Situated downtown, this place is always hopping with locals and tourists alike. The only thing I would change is... having a kid friendly side or something so we could enjoy more often! Because it is a Pub we can't bring the kids in there :(

We are so thankful for your kind review. We too would like to offer a kid friendly pub experience but our liquor license does not allow minors in the pub. This one is for grown ups only - which can be a good thing when parents need a night out. Hope to see you again soon.

Stopped into Golden for lunch and found this pub while wandering the old downtown area. I had the veggie burger and a dark ale (cant remember the name).
