A very tough steak served on an overfilled and poorly presented plate - certainly not as good as 2 years ago.

This pub could really do with a massive refurb, it looks rather dated and tired. However the food is good and well priced and the pub is clean! I would recommend visiting if you are looking for a yummy meal!

Mermaid Inn, Porth Bay, only had a drink that was enough, very smelly in the entrance ...Toilets!! and overall its was like going back in time, 30 Years in desperate need of a refurb.

Just had to visit again as we enjoyed our meals last year. We were very happy with our food once again. Generous portions and great value for money. If you're looking for fancy wallpaper then go to Homebase. If you're looking for great food then visit the Mermaid Inn!

There were 9 of us for lunch. We ate outside, which was virtually on the beach. It is a beach pub and the atmosphere and ambience fits that description. The service was good and the food was obviously freshly cooked and fitted exactly what we needed having just arrived at our destination, when we were feeling tired and hungry!

just down the road from our hotel meals was one of the biggest we have seen we could have shared it between us the fish looked and tasted fresh with aice loal beer to follow . we then walked back to our hotel along the costal road .

This is a nice little pub on the beach. I ordered the Cod and Chips and was very happy with the quality of food served. Home made chips and freshly battered fish. None of that terrible frozen stuff.
