A little disappointed not very good food had a lot better took a long time to get coffee staff talking the Japanese experience could be better.
Fantastic welcome, warm friendly service and great food will make for a definite return! Friends recommended this place, I recommend that you try it too! Well done!
Booked this restaurant a few months ago as I was very excited by the reviews on here which are mostly positive. To be honest I'm really confused as to why this is as the experience was awful and expensive. We had miso soup, edamame beans and tempura prawn maki. The soup was tasteless and the edaname beans were covered in... More
Went to Okinama with a group of friends. Was pleasently suprised. Atmosphere was good. We did not book and went upstairs for cocktails. Which were very nice. Food and service was excellent. Only mild disappointment was I went for sashimi platter. Which was very small portions of sashimi. However everybody else wisely went for cooked food that was so nice... More
My friend and I came here having both never eaten Japanese food in a restaurant. We booked online in advance and were given free sake which was a nice touch. We arrived early so popped upstairs for a fantastic cocktail during 'Aperitivo Hours' meaning that what we ordered from the specified menu was only £3.50 each. From walking in the... More

Returned here with goal of enjoying it without the rush we had on our last visit. Testimony of a great place once again as we'd already eaten too much at another Japanese restaurant for lunch so following on here was a great competition. Despite arriving without an appetite the dishes wowed us so much we simply couldn't stop eating. Every... More
Inside and outside seating with very hospitiable staff. The food is excellent and not overly expensive. I used the premises when trying to learn the language. The staff were so helpful. The menu is varied and satisfying.
We went on a Sunday night and started with having a few drinks at the bar upstairs. Sunday -Friday between 5-8pm they offer happy hour on a wide choice of cocktails for £3.50 each. There were only few customers so plenty of seats available plus a lovely terrace for smokers. I liked the light and airy ambient of the bar.... More
