Had an early Saturday evening meal at Pomegranate after wandering around The Old Town. Service was excellent and our meal delicious. Lots of local seafood on the menu along with locally sourced produce. We chose 5 hour slow cooked, crispy pork belly which was absolutely superb. I would definitely return when we visit Hastings again.

A good small restaurant, where they put effort into local sourcing and creating flavoursome food. Essentially Modern British, with quite a lot of fish and some meat. Recently visited this restaurant at the Easter bank holiday weekend. Lovely, small, candle-lit restaurant. Very warm welcome. And that's it really. Absolutely packed - first night of season maybe but offered poor table by door - swapped it for cramped table at rear of restaurant. Ended cancelling last course as wait was too long. Enjoyed what we had - mussels, fish soup and another fish dish. But just average.
