Nice enough place and the staff are very pleasant but the food was quite ordinary. When my main arrived I thought it was a starter, the portion was so small. I could have eaten 3 times as much. So a bit overpriced for what you get.

I work nearby and De palo's always comes first on the list of options when my colleagues and I are looking for a nice lunch out of the office.
I love everything about this place from the kindness of the owner Daniele and his team, the exquisite pasta dishes and the very good red wine.
Such a nice relaxing place...

After reading the Times restaurant review I was really looking forward to eating here to sample authentic and possibly different Italian food. There was only one special and that was on the main course - pasta with ricotta and spinach - hardly a special?
The staff were friendly and attentive but it was a quiet evening so not a great...

We wanted somewhere to celebrate my Open University graduation, and a friend recommended De Palo's. We weren't disappointed. We'd had a fabulous day at the Barbican and this was the icing on the cake. The food was perfect, it really was like being in Italy. Great food, beautifully cooked and presented and attentive and cheerful service made it a memorable...

Down an uninspiring little lane beside St Bride's Fleet Street this was a bit of a gamble. Good reviews on TripAdvisor are not always guaranteed to come up with a winner (everyone's different after all) but this was definitely well worth it.
De Palo's is, joy of joys, not one of the many anglo-italian restaurants serving variations on a theme...

The standard of food was very good but was let down by slow service, unfortuantly this was due to a large table of 10 plus people ordering all at the same time and we as a group was stuck behind so it took aproximatly an hour and half for a starter and a main course to be completed.
This is a wonderful little restaurant; it’s small and very friendly, they serve superb Italian food and it’s not all fussy or pretentious. It’s very near St Paul’s cathedral; a little difficult to find (it’s located in an arcade) but is well worth looking for. It hasn’t been open long and everything is bright and very clean – attractive and...

Nice enough place and the staff are Very pleasant but the food was quite bland and no better than average. Cant agree with the rave reviews, sorry, both agree it wasn't that good.
I don't usually post reviews but, having visited De Palo's I felt compelled to post. The food was exceptional - simple but delicious and made and presented with so much care and attention. the waiters were fantastic, and you could tell immediately how much they care about their family business. I know they take these reviews very seriously, so to...

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened on a weekly basis. I love the food, cosy atmosphere and wonderful attentive staff. This is a small family owned restaurant with about 12 tables and as such, given the cosy size of the restaurant the menu is small but fantastic. I took two friends for a meal two weeks...
