Me and my friend came here for afternoon tea, we had the 2 champagne cocktails and tea package which only cost £28 between us! The food was very tasty the only down side for us was that there were a few fishy things which we didn't like.. Lots of variety though :) The staff were very abrupt but we kind... More

This place is great to introduce yourself to basic russian food if you have no idea what it looks like. Went with a group of friends for bank holiday lunch. Mari Vanna is a beautiful place, love the old newspapers on the walls and crystal chandeliers everywhere. Definitely check out their bathrooms! Fun is everywhere. The food was really good,... More

Really happening place in London at the moment. Favourite with fashionable Russian expats as well as locals who know and love Russian food. Menu is very very Russian so for someone who has never experienced Russian food Mari Vanna is agood place to start. Restaurant set up in a 'soviet' home or dacha style, service is fast, staff is super... More

The restaurant serves traditional Eastern European and Russian dishes. It’s not widely advertised and it doesn't boast but it is one of the best in the area. We had borsch, Siberian dumplings, pancakes of various types and plenty of cranberry mors. You don't need to be Russian to enjoy this fantastic food

I have been to Mari Vanna a few times now and it never disappoints. From the fun and interesting decor to the food that only a babushka would lovingly make I give it a thumbs up. Being in the swanky part of town, the moment you step in from Knightsbridge you are transported into a Russian grandmas house, complete with... More

I was really amazed bny this place in Knightsbridge. The Russian food was very tasty and you could choose from an impressing variety. The dumplings were outstanding. The best feature of this restaurant, anyway, is its awsome decor. It's one of the cutest place I have ever been.

We visited Mari Vanna on the Easter weekend on the recommendation of a Russian friend. Having turned up without a reservation previously we found that you aren't likely to get in without calling ahead. Arriving you are greeting by pleasant hostesses who take your coats and guide you to your table. The dinning room decor is comforting and provides a... More

Very good and authentic Russian food. We were a party of 6 and ordered all different dishes to share and taste - everything was very tasty. Very good service. Decor as in grandma's living room - very cute. Obviously not cheap (location!). I was positively surprized as I rather expected some sort of "a la russe" experience and happy to... More

I had seen the pictures and the reviews, and had wondered what all the fuss was about thinking it might possibly been on the wrong side of gingerbread house kitsch. How wrong I as and how happy I am to admit that I fell in love with Mari Vana.We went for afternoon tea on a Top Table special rate of £25 for... One of the joys of travelling solo for work is that you have the opportunity to just stumble across places and take a risk. I had no idea what type of restaurant Mari Vanna was but I thought the bicycle lit up with fairy lights looked pretty cool, so I thought ... what the hell, its lunch time and I'm... More
