The staff are rude, the food is awfull, and the toilets are the worst I have ever been in! It took 15 just to get served, there was only 3 people in front of me? the food took another 45 minutes and was cold and tasteless. Went to the toilet before leaving, the stench was awfull, there was no soap,... More

During this period I asked several times how long it would be, and was told variously “in five minutes”, “we’re doing it now” – both of which... More

Had breakfast there with my family as guests at Premier Inn. It was one of the worst English breakfasts we had in a hotel. Rather choose an other place for breakfast or just have some sandwiches.

Went in by chance as we were passing. Bad attitude from the bar staff. They brought the wrong order. The food was cold and sloppy. The toilets were disgusing. Overall avoid at all cost.

We went there with friends after finding their menu showing some sharing platters that looked great and unusual so didn't think it was unusual that it was busy especially just after the normal lunch hours and with it being a tourist trap/area .. We had a drink and then had a look at the menu.. This is where it starts... More

I revisited the anchor after a break of some 15 years. Current management have really let standards slip. Simply not a shadow of what was or could be. My advise is to steer clear of the food. Its badly prepared and takes an age to arrive. The only thing that I think that appeals is the prospect of a summer... More

This pub is in a lovely location right on the river front on the south bank, with a large outside seating area. But if the sun is shining it is completely over run with tourists and big parties. The service can be so slow, with queues three deep at the bar. The pub itself is pretty uninspiring, smelling strongly of... More
