I went with friends after a night at the palladium and it was a nice place to go for a drink. Unusual setting but very friendly staff!! Good place for a late night!
Little and warm welcoming restaurant. As soon as you pass the entrance, you feel straight in Switzerland. Fondue, raclette, viande des grisons. Swiss wine of course, you have to try the "raspberrie wine" for dessert. Top!
Wow, what a find. Fondue has a place in our history so finding this restaurant was a real treat and we were not to be disappointed. The restaurant is cosy and traditional, the food outstanding and the service was spot on, in fact the service was simply outstanding. We enjoyed starters and main course, Fondue of course, washed down with... More
Swiss hospitality is world renowned; however this particular restaurant proved an unfortunate exception. We booked a table at this restaurant as a group of 18 friends, and had carefully checked the exact price per person before on the telephone with a woman taking bookings there. The fondue was actually very good, although the waiters were rather sourly and unwelcoming, as... More
These people are crazy! I've been to st moritz and this is without a doubt one of the best fondue restaurants in London! Great food, great atmosphere and an authentic alpine feel! A must stop for fondue lovers! Would make a great place for a group of friends on a Saturday night!
I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. The food is always excellent, I find the service very personable, from the owner down to all of the waitresses, and the wine list great. The stand-out choices are the fondues - try the triple of cheese to start, Chinois for main and chocolate for dessert. The Steaks are... More
Definitely not the average type of restaurant....If you are looking for something different, this is the place... it's warm, cosy, you feel in the Alps not in rainy London.... I had a small problem with the smell of cheese...too strong for me despite the affirmations from my French colleagues that this is normal and actually good :) I ordered onion... More
We booked a table for 4 people which we later changed for 2. Once we got to the restaurant, the hostess told us to go upstairs (she didn't take us to the table). This table was so small that we didn't fit. We asked the hostess to change us to a different table (there were 2 open tables for 2... More
What people dont realize; Swiss food is actually pretty good and as some state, yes you must like cheese to really like the swiss cuisine, as this restaurant. The interior is nice and cosy and the staff yes actually quite nice. We started with the raclette which they like in Switzerland do from a grill and then we had fondue.... More
I like Cheese. Actually, I REALLY, REALLY like Cheese. That's why I chose this restaurant. Do you like Cheese? If you do, you should visit this restaurant. If you don't like the smell of Cheese, I wouldn't visit this restaurant. When you walk in, it's like being in the Alps after a hard days skiing. It's a little old school,... More
