This pub is really good! Sitting on the south side of the River Thames you can sit outside and watch the river traffic or sit inside. The food is absolutely excellent. We visited the pub after a trip to the Shard which is about a 15 minute walk (just under one mile). The staff were friendly and helpful and the... More

We spent 4 days in London in March and ate here on our last night. It was by far the best meal we had while in town! They were having a St. Patrick's day special menu and all the food was delicious and the drinks were great! Service was fast and polite. We sat inside, but still had phenomenal views... More

Grandson took his mum and myself to this pub. Lots of people eating and lovely real ale!! Nice view across the Thames and plenty of seats on the outside decking area. Looks like this is a popular watering hole for many locals as well as sightseers.

A great location by the river on the South Bank. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine and beer - really nice spot. Recommended. Didn't eat, but looking forward to going again some time.

Just stopped for a drink, so cant comment on the food! It was certainly expensive- around £4.50 a pint, £7.50 for an Archers and Lemonade....and service was fairly slow despite not being too busy. However, the location makes this worth it! Right on the River, with steps down to a little beach, it is perfect on a warm day. Would... More

Hey, it's a pub, not fine dining. You go to the bar to order and work quickly to snag a table outside with an outstanding view. The food was very good and their beer on tap very good. Service was very good.

A great location pub overlooking the Thames and across to St Paul's and close by to Tate Modern. Menu typical good pub food, outside area with heaters so can view the sights all year round and very pleasant inside after recent refurbishment.

The Founder's arms is a delightful pub that stands between Blackfriars' Bridge and the Millenium foot Bridge. On warm days it is enjoyable to sit outside and enjoy the fabulous views - the river Thames, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, and the ever increasing city bank landscape. The river is now clean, and provides a beautiful backdrop. The pub is... More

Yet another enjoyable visit. This is pobably the best situated pub in London with its views over the Thames. The overall ambience is great, good choice of drinks, well cooked and tasty food, and a team of friendly and efficient staff. My Wife and I really enjoyed our meals, the quality was as good as on our previous visits and... More

We always walk along the south bank past the Tate modern to this pub.Good pub food with great views of St. Paul's and canary wharf especially at night. In summer it's even better outside with patio heaters for the cool evenings.
