on a visit to whitby,we booked for lunch at the magpie cafe,WOW....I had the fishpie,full of white chunks of cod,salmon,prawns in a lovely sauce,smothered in cheesy mash....so large portion you could share,my husband had his usual cod n chips fresh crispy batter,golden chips special seaside food...as it was my birthday the staff were lovely...but always are.

Gluten free fish and chips....brilliant and gluten free vinegar. Never been offered this before. Delicious

Been to Magpie many times since being a child. The fish and chips have always been excellent. Been today for take away fish and chips, was not disappointed. Well done the Magpie for consistency over the last 50 years.
