We decided to try the Olive Branch Bistro last evening and were pleasantly surprised. The greeting was warm and welcoming - several Ludlow eateries could take lessons in customer service from this young lady! Bland, overpriced food in a school-dinner style canteen. Not impressed! Especially not recommended (if that is acceptable English!) is the ploughmans lunch.

An excellent venue, offering some of the best food we have enjoyed for a long time. The staff were friendly, attentive and very keen to give good service. The food on offer was superb, an the venue does offer it's recipes for sale. Although not the smartest restaurant you will vist, it is clean & simple. Well worth a visit

We had sampled the scones (the black currant ones are excellent) on a number of occasions so thought we would try a Saturday night. We were not disappointed.
