I have been going here on and off since i was about 10. That's a fair few years. Always good service, Accommodating to dietary requirements and service with a smile. Decoration has never changed - its good to go and smile at some of the old faces that have wined and dined from the Theatre Royal that used to be... More

Visited before going to Regent Theatre, vibrant place with a good atmosphere. My partner had to send back giant grilled prawns as they were cold , everything else was ok and as Hanley is lacking any quality restaurants we will no doubt visit Roberto's again.Friendly staff.

We went Saturday 27th April, we had a table booked for two but an hour before we had a change of plan and called the restaurant to see if we could make it a table of four, although they were fully booked they called me back within 5 minutes and had made extra space. After reading every review prior to... More

There's always a really great atmosphere at Roberto's. It's never pretentious but delivers genuine home cooked Italian food with a smile. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and so are their wines. Never been dissapointed. ;-)

I dont know where to start really......We went to Robertos before going to watch Dirty Dancing at the Regent Theatre, had a bad start to our evening. The service was very poor, I dont think i saw a smile from any of the staff. We found the tables very small and unconfortable and the decor very dated. Food? Cant reall... More

A group of us ate at Roberto's for a friend's birthday yesterday. With so many bland and faceless chain restaurants taking over nationally, it was refreshing to receive excellent service in a friendly & unpretentious family-run environment. Everyone loved their food which was fairly priced and top quality, and we all left feeling very satisfied by every aspect of this... More

Nipped into here for a quick midweek tea. Plenty of choice on the menu. Started with breads and oil / balsamic. Chose the Napoli and Pesto spaghetti main courses. Spaghetti was lovely and al dente which is rare in England! Pesto had plenty of flavour. Napoli sauce could have done with more seasoning and a touch of oregano to jazz... More
