Prices were very good but the food was average. Service was also good and the place itself is lovely especially on a sunny day. However I was slightly put off by a long black curly hair in my food, although likely to be accidental it was still pretty off putting.

The menu in Panis seemed very inviting, but unfortunately the quality of the food did not live up to the promise. House wine was OK and cheap enough, but if this is typical of the food offer, there is better to be had in Newcastle for the price.
