This restaurant was recommended in an article entitled "A weekend in Worcester" in The Times in August 2012. Knowing we were visiting this year a made a note.Good more. We had a fabulous luch with a squid, chorizo ans haloumi started folled by sea bream, caponata and garlic sauteed potatoes. Great food. Friendly and attentive service. Great value. Along with...

There were five of us for my frien'd birthday - we had a lovely evening and were made to feel very welcome. Food, as always, was beautiful and tasty.
Saffrons Bistro - Lovely restaurant, great food, good service and a great price. Would fully recomend going there.
We have been eating at Saffron's for many, many years, as we live in the city and have seen many other eateries come and go. We enjoy "fine dining" and eat quite often at Michelin star places (not, I hasten to add, in this town), but Saffron's is not (and has never set out to be) a fine dining restaurant....

The lunch menu had...

Being Gluten intolerant (Coeliac borderline) makes one apprehensive about booking a celebration meal anywhere. It wants to be memorable for the right reasons and here everything was very good.
All of the sauces are Gluten Free and the Chef is flexible for items on the menu to be altered to suit. Having Gluten Free bread served with the olives at...

We ate at Saffrons last Friday. What a refreshing change to have an exceptionally well cooked meal, scallops, then the swordfish, all faultless, and although they were busy, the atmosphere was very tranquil. All the staff are charming, friendly and attentive yet unassuming. A first class experience (so good, we ate there the following evening). We will return when next visiting...
