This lovely traditional pub serves the most wonderful food with an olde worlde atmosphere.
We have dined at this Inn many times over the years and have always found the food to be of high quality and the service impecable. Only downside is the difficulty in parking!
We have visited this pub restaurant on many occasions it's a good country pub with good restaurant seating upstairs, you can also eat in the bar, and if sitting outside the views are excellent. The food is great, the staff attentive. You need to book well in advance it is very busy. Sunday lunch is very good.
What can you not say that is not good about this place. The views are stunning, the landlords very attentive, the food immpresieve (anyone who can serve a decent cauliflower cheese with decent crunchy cauliflower) and nothing is too much trouble. We had Sunday lunch and were staying the night as well. Great rooms with big tv's and really nice...

My partner and I went here based on the very good reviews on Tripadvisor but were not overly impressed. The restaurant area upstairs is a bit tired and not really in keeping with the country pub feel and the food was average at best. The special menu that they were advertising on Easter Monday was very expensive circa £8-£10 starter...

Three of us came here for Sunday lunch (booked by the one who lives locally). Great meal, good wine, and sadly, no room for dessert! Will return when in the area.
This was our second visit to the Gwaelod y Garth Inn and won't be our last I feel.
Before itemising the good points of this restaurant it has to be said that PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE. The inn has its own car park but this holds just a fraction of the vehicles brought by customers on a busy Sunday lunchtime...

Meet some friends up here in the summer and just chill. Hikers like it too, so I hear.
We went there for my parents wedding anniversary with a table of 14. Not one person was disappointed with their food the quality was excellent. You will pay a little more than your regular pub but I will say it is well worth it. I had rump steak and it was melt in your mouth. The service was really good...

Isolated location, perched on a hiillside in the pretty old village of Gwaelod Y Garth. Parking to the rear. A good choice of ales. Restaurant is surprisingly good and has a good atmosphere and attentive service. A little more expensive than the average pub food but well worth it.
