Had only really done tapas once before this, and hadn't been that keen. Tried it here and was won over!
Had a bite to eat here on a fairly quiet sunday afternoon. Serivice was quick and friendly. Plenty options for gluten free which was important to us. Price was fair for what we got which was 5 dishes plus coffee and desert. Saw a comment about the chairs..........and you know they probably were not the best, and it has actually... More
Before going to cinema we fancied a bite to eat so thought we'd try this place as it was pretty empty and we reckoned that food would be quick. Sign at door - wait to be seated. We waited, waited and waited whilst slow staff walked back and forward and we were not acknowledged at all. Eventually a chap came... More
Very very poor, food was cold, staff where ignorant, food was bland and the seats are so uncomfy my back is killing!! When we left aswel there was nobody to be seen to say goodbye or anything. I'm usually quite generous with my reviews but wow how can this place still be open!! Only thing I can say is the... More
We visited this branch of La Tasca after being disappointed with another restaurant in the city center. I can honestly say that the staff make this establishment, they are friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, hot and in good size portions for a tapas restaurant, served promptly and not expensive. Overall a very... More
Not a good choice with group on but what we had was really good, not many customers for a Tuesday night but staff friendly. Would go back again and choose from main menj
I ate here before heading to the cinema. On arrivalI told staff I had around 30 minutes before my film started. I was recommended to avoid ordering paella as that took 20 minutes to prepare. The food I ordered was served quickly and was all very well cooked and enjoyable. Staff were all friendly and helpful and I will be... More
We were attending a concert in the Playhouse and needed to eat somewhere close. Having been here before and enjoyed it we thought we would give it a try again. . La Tasca is a chain but the difference here is the staff and the atmosphere. We ordered a selection of tapas and they were all delicious with one exception,... More
Had an absolutely perfect dinner for two here last week. I had never had Tapas before but my boyfriend told me it was the kind of thing I'd love, and he was completely right. The entire meal, from start to finish was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, the service faultless and the food heavenly. We had a Tabla Espanola to... More
Waiter was very helpful in picking dishes, quick friendly service. Food wasn't amazing but it was still nice. Could be pricey if we didn't have a taste card (241). Atmosphere was lively dispite it being quite quiet which was nice. Would go back as we really enjoyed it.
