Previous visit - last year was a great experience. Has now re-opened and I used a Groupon voucher and was treated like a 2nd class customer. Food was not nice, complained and got a bizarre explanation from a waiter who lacks basic knowledge of food. My main course was so spicy, I could not taste anything for 24 hours afterwards.... More

Must say its not the most gorgeous takeaway around but the food is mouth watering, took my friends there for a meal and they all loved the food! A must to try out and the staff is all friendly too x

The service is informal, nice and friendly. Large tv playing modern Bollywood movie numbers got me into a nice dance. The floor tiles seem to be fasted with unflushed rivets which was a bit bizarre. The little table cloths were not clean, neither was my fork so I used fingers for the pakora. The chicken ones were plentiful enough and... More

I have been here many times before but I would just like to review positively towards this cafe. This is really a cafe ..chilled out relaxing atmosphere with great food..not a restaurant!. The food is great and I didnt see anything wrong with the toilets..We loved the starters but the owner wants the menus to change now as many things... More

Went here on a Saturday early evening, 5pm and definitely won't be back!! This was the worst meal we have ever had. We had been several times before last year but now it's changed ownership, please keep your money and go somewhere authentic. The menu has changed dramatically and it's definitely not 'Pakistani' .The starters was still frozen!!! When we... More

Went here using a discount voucher, so wasn't expecting fine dining. But given their publicity,we were hoping for some authentic, perhaps a little different food. What we got was bog standard - and not that good - Indo - Pak fare, and only after a 40 minute wait for starters. Incredibly uncomfortable, tatty, cold premises, chaotic service, limited, uninspiring menu.... More

Visited with friends.Veggie options were good. Staff pleasant with chilled out atmoshphere. Staff explained there may be a wait as food was freshly prepared. Great for cheap eats and to chill out.

Went here on a cold, snowy. Tuesday evening a few weeks ago. Despite being empty we had a great meal. The guy running the place was very attentive and the food amazing. He kept apologising for the length of time it took, but it was clear that our meal was being cooked from scratch and it showed. The food was... More

I went to The Pakistani Cafe on Friday with a group of about 13 friends. I think it has changed hands since the last time I was there. The decor is much more up to date and a little less disorganised. I had a fantastic night. The food was top quality and there was a lot of it. My table... More
