I have been to Les Gourmandises on various occasions. It is always fine dining and the service is exceptional. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place and everyone I have brought there has always loved it.

I dined here with my wife and both had the prix-fixe menu. First word of warning: if you want any potatoes and vegetables, these need to be ordered separately as they are not included in the price. The staff were pleasant enough though not very engaging. However when getting our coats they were quite friendly. We started with the tasting... More

A dull and damp evening on Friday night, we went here wet from another shower, where we were met by our hostess for the night who offered warm fluffy towels to dry off. We then received our menus for the evening where we had to spend much time deliberating , I had the prawns in filo with mango puree while... More

After a short online research, I decided that for his birthday I would take my boyfriend to this restaurant. For sure I was expecting to get good food, but was also being reserved about the whole thing, you know how it goes. Well, I have to say we had a fantastic time!! We both like to explore different recipes and... More

We really enjoyed our meal here last night. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I wouldn't really criticise anything but if I was being picky I'd say the wine was overpriced - the cheapest bottle was 29.50 euro and it wasn't that great. Also, the bread they served with the meal was unimaginative. In any other restaurant I... More

Having had such great lunch in Kinsale, was not really hungry. The hotel booked this restaurant for us and I am so glad they did because we saw many many people being turned away. The Owner (it is a husband(chef) and wife (front of house) team, greeted us with a smile and a welcome, and showed us to a small... More

Don't bring your friends here as they surcharge groups of 6 or more people an Extra 10 % On your Food and your Drink I find this extraordinary, they should discount the bill by 10% for bringing extra business. When I pointed this out to the proprietor her attitude was not helpful So large groups be aware
