We stumbled across this gem of an eatery on a Saturday night and were really impressed. The food was excellent - well cooked, fresh, good quality - and the service and atmosphere were spot on. The menu was just the right length with a good selection of particularly tempting mains. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend to others. PS.... More

This restaurant has eschewed the tendency to offer seemingly cheap early bird evening menus composed of cheap ingredients. The menu offers a small number of expertly cooked choices. I highly recommend the skate with beetroot, capers and raisins served with new potatoes. Also superb is the rib eye main course. The Italian Tuscan red wine is full bodied good value.... More

Dubliners are looking for value for money these days and Eastwood & Mays is a great place to find delicious food at reasonable prices. They have a value dinner option for two for €49 , which I would commend. I wish they opened for Sunday brunch! A little gem.

I eat lunch here on a regular basis and it is always good. There is a great choice and the food is always fresh. I particularly like that you can get a half and half - a choice of 2 from half soup/sandwich/salad. They have the nicest brown bread. service is friendly but it can get busy so make sure... More

I dropped in the E & M's on the recommendation of a friend. The servise was very friendly and prompt. The food was excellent with a good choice at very reasonable prices. The chocolate brownies were excellent as was the home cooked biscuts with the coffee which were provided free gratus by Ashlinn. Make sure to try one when there.... More

I went to Eastwood and Mays with friends celebrating a birthday in January. The menu is very short, but when all the dishes are good, you don’t need so much choice. I am vegetarian, and had a roast pepper soup for starters, followed by a potato cake with Gubbeen cheese The food was really nice, but it is the service... More
