Every time I go here it's good. The restaurant is situation in what used to be a Church so the atmosphere and decor are great. There is bar food (which is great and good value) available downstairs. Upstairs there is a 'proper' restaurant located in the balcony of the church. The set menu is a great deal and if you...

After arriving in Ireland and being awake for 36 hours...good food and an upbeat atmosphere is what we needed. We were directed to The Church by a local who said it was great food. We found it easily and were seated in a quaint alcove that used to be a side pew in this old church. The pipe organ is...

We sat in a corner booth which was very private. Try for a balcony seat if you can. The bathrooms downstairs were very interesting, too. We had sandwiches, french fries, and hot tea all of which were delicious. It seemed so unique to eat in a church, and then we ran across several other converted churches in Ireland and Scotland,...

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were not disapointed . The food and service were excellent. The location in the center of Dublin was a Former Church of Ireland built around 1700. The building is beautiful with wonderful wood carvings and original plaques on the walls. We sat in front of the church organ (which Handel played) on a...

This is a classic for your visits in Dublin City.
It's just off one of the busiest shopping streets in Dublin, Henry Street.
The interiors are great, I mean, it's a restaurant / bar in a church!
Perhaps a bit more expensive than a classic pub, but again, it's a church! :)
They have also a good selection of drinks...

Wow, this is an amazing place to see, yet alone to eat here. Fully restored old church with great food and service. Guaranteed great food.
Called in for a coffee and scone at lunch time - good quick service although we had to pay when it was delivered to the table which was unusual. Scone not the best I've ever had but the fresh cream and strawberry jam made for a delicious great. All in two hot drinks and two scones 12 euro. No rush...

The Church is just what it says on the tin. An old church. It even comes complete with the old organ and pipes preserved on the gallery to the far right! I visited while there was a massive gig on and the venue worked very well as the main bar is right in the middle of the space.
Let's start off with this: as both a religious nut and a foodie, this was maybe my favorite adventure here in Dublin. They've kept as much as possible of the old church, so there's plenty to see while you eat their delicious food! The organ's still there, many of the monument plaques on the walls remain and the baptismal font...
