Just like "Colorpolis', we showed up right at closing time after a long day of traveling. We had already tried several establishments that politely turned us down, and we were getting reconciled to going hungry. I ate here with a friend last weekend. We hit the pub and restaurant scene for dinner at the worst possible time, as the Heineken Cup Final had just gotten underway, and we couldnt even get inside the door of several places! We wandered down along Quay Street, and came upon this little place. We liked the look of the... More

My wife and I popped in on st. Patty's to get away from the ruckus. The owner wa just closing shop but took us anyway. very warm and welcoming atmosphere and great food. The best potato leek soup and the pan fried salmon is incredible.

The food was very average, but the prices were above average. The person who served us was pleasant. There was really nothing memorable about it or that would make me want to return. The location is good.

We went into this little restaurant as it looked very small and cosy. We really enjoyed our food we did not enjoy listening to the conversations of the owner (/manager?) and while my bf was not bothered, I thought it ruined the atmosphere a bit.

We had been to Druid Lane on a previous visit to Galway and was so impressed with the food and service that there was no hesitation in re-visiting when we there again with our daughter. Big mistake... the place was empty so no problem being seated, the waitress was pleasant, took our order but that is where it all went... More

My partner and I decided to eat in Druids Lane on Friday night. At 9pm we walked in to an empty restaurant, not a good sign but we always happy to give anywhere a chance. The starters we had were mussels and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were ok, just ok though and the mussels were bland and tasteless.... More

It was the opening of the galway oyster festival and every restaurant in town that we like to go was full and there were long queues..... This is a good thing, a chance to go somewhere new, to go somewhere you haven't been before and that's when we walked into Druid's Lane... To be perfectly honest I've walked past it... More
