The worst meal I've eaten in years... Seafood chowder tasted like vegetable soup with some white fish thrown in - absolutely revolting... The chicken Kiev looked like it had been cooked several hours previously and reheated in the microwave???? Calling this a restaurant is an insult

It felt as if we were bothersome just by being in the restaurant. I know that Galway is full of "foreigners" who have never left, but maybe the natives should teach these folks the true Irish hospitality. The waitstaff was slow to get to our table, then all of the staff stopped by the table... it was kind of chaotic... More

We went here with our group of nine people 30 minutes before closing and the wait staff was nice enough to seat all of us around the small dining area. The atmosphere can't be beat...the Quays is in an old church and boasts a couple of levels with stained glass windows and a fireplace. The food was reasonably priced but... More

The stew, couldn't be called 'Irish'... & I've had bad Irish stew, but it was the worst! and for the rest, Nothing, nothing at all.... not a bit of imagination; great use of the microwave, smiley and bored waitresses, sorry, but it was really bad, and a complete waste of our time and money....

Went here for the carvery for lunch. The staff were pleasant, but the food was average at best. Edible, but nothing special, and you'd expect much better for the price.

We had dinner at the Quays restaurant and we liked the setting. A multi-level pub/restaurant with live music after 9:30 pm, and not so crowded. Very pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and we received a good service. Average food: the Irish stew was tasty and the apple pie delicious, but everything was served so fast that it gave... More

Amazing building and atmosphere with very good service but the food was extremely lacking. The food looked and tasted like cafeteria style but cost what a well prepared meal should. Worth a visit and I would go back for a drink but not to eat.

This pub is multi-level, so there are lots of different nooks you can go into to enjoy your beer or food. We ducked in right after the St Patrick's Day parade to get out of the rain and grab some food and drinks. The restaurant was full, so we were served our lunch in the bar, all the better for... More

We just had beer, not dinner, but it was very good. Great bartender. Multi-level. Go way in - don't just pull up at the first bar near the door.

Went into this bar last Saturday night while visiting Galway, The reason I went in was it was one of the few bars in the area with live music. What a good decision, The band were incredible. Played absolutely every kind of music. The band name is EPIC and they were. I believe they are a resident band once a... More
