Only ok. Bring the Rennie. Are here and had the fish and chips. Tasted ok at the time, bit greasy. Had killer heart burn for the next two days. No rush back.
Had Sunday lunch here. The food was quite tasty and quite reasonable. Staff were friendly but did not listen. Had that annoying habit of walking away from the table while we were still talking and we just knew they hadn't listened. Orders came out wrong as a result. Same happened ordering dessert even though it was a different staff. Ordered... More
we only moved to this area recently and had lots of recommendations for restaurants, which were all ok,but this place is a bit special.it looks very small from the outside but it is quite large yet private inside.we were both in the food business in a big way for a number of years and really appreciate people who know their trade... Had lunch here today. It was reasonably priced at €21.95 for 3 course meal. The choice of menu was good . The place itself could do with a bit of decorating especially the toilets. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We spent the evening trying to find a restaurant in town, and we happened upon Fisherman's. It was almost 9 but the waitress was great. She made good recommendations. The food was well prepared.
Title says it all! Good decent food. Japanese chicken fish was delicious and flavoursome but not too spicy. Chocolate roulade was to die for!
Had lunch here the weekend with my partner, starters were ok nothing too fancy, i had garlic mushrooms which could have been nicer the batter was lacking taste, partner had garlic bread. Mains she had penne arrabiata which really is and consistently very tasty and satisfying, i had the thai red curry which tasted as good as it looked. Restaurant... More
Very clean and nice decor, got what we never ordered so lack of communication, portions for the price very bad, we wanted chips instead of potatos and veg yet the price of the meal €12:95 the same plus the cost of the chips €2:50, so beef chips and gravy €15:95 so I think I'll stick to the blackby inn much... The girl that served us couldnt have been more pleasant and straight away handed our kids crayons and menus to draw on (this meant i could eat in peace), the menu was extensive an when to food came out...
