This is a lovely place to eat and from what I hear, it's got even better over the last year! I had a calzone...no calzone has quite matched the one I had here! Really great service and fabulous food!

Having read the reviews down the page I would agree that this is not a Italian restaurant, Very limited menu with 6-8 items. I ordered penne arrabiata, which came out as penne with passata on top, O complained about the lack of flavour, it was replaced by the same meal with dried chilli added on top, the pasta was swimming...

Don't go!!!
On arrival we actually had to ask ourselves to be seated! Not a good start. We noticed straight away that the waiters from Anoki were also the waiters for the "Italian"!
We were advised by the waiter that they had had a problem with the chef however they had a new one today who was Michelin rated!

Visited La Dolce Vita for a joint birthday meal. We booked a table last minute but they were happy to accommodate us. We were asked to arrive for 8:30 where we could order drinks and look at the menu to order for 9:00. By 10:30 we still had not received our starters. The whole evening was a disaster from start...

Went on the 14th Dec for a Christmas party, I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and was aware the layout and menu had changed. However despite this I was not disappointed, the service and food was still excellent, the staff made us very welcome and looked after our needs all night.
We've eaten here on many occasions over the last couple years and, yes, its changed its menu and its downstairs layout.
I don't know about you, but I go to a restaurant for the food, the service and the general ambience of the place. Whether this is called La Dolce Vita or Anoki Continental, it has consistently delivered on all...

Amazing food, and great friendly service exactly what derby needs for an Italian restaurant. Highly recommended
Although i saw there was lots of confusion noted in previous reviews over branding of the restaurant, on my visit I did not find this a problem. Food was all of good quality I enjoyed the chicken main I ordered and the service was good. Would visit again.
Having dined here several times previously and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, we once again paid a visit last weekend, full of expectation of another great experience and lashings of fantastic food served from the extensive Italian menu...
Once we found our way in through the new entrance serving both the Anoki Indian restaurant and La Dolce Vita, we...

We've been to this restaurant several times before, and always had a good meal in a great atmosphere.
This time not so. The entrance has been removed and is shared with the indian restaurant upstairs and is confusing with no reception desk or designated waiter at the door, there were waiters wandering around in indian costume, and as we went...
