A very cute restaurant. The food was traditional heavy Alsacian and very good. Beware there are two entrances on two sides of the building. I lost my wife for 15 minutes as we each exited out a different door.

food very good. only downside is the little (none whatsoever) space between tables
This is a restaurant in the middle of many others in Rue Des Taillers de Pierre, a very busy walking street. Either outside or inside the service is good although the spaces are a little bit tight.
There are courses avaliable and the dishes are very well presented. We spent 55 euros for two persons at dinner time, with a...

We found this little gem while walking around the Cathedral. It was brilliant! We had the menu d' jour with 3 courses. Soup and quiche for starters were fresh and very well prepared, Isle flotant for dessert was really a treat. Reasonably priced, excellent food, good service. I will certainly visit if in Strasbourg again.
This restaurant is very well known by people that live in Strasbourg. They appreciate it because it offers good traditional food and is located a little off the main touristic route. If you want to taste real Alsacien food: this is the place to go!
It is better to place a reservation if you plan to eat there after 7pm....

If you happen to walk down Rue du Vieil Hôpital towards the river and come across a small side street to your left called Rue des Tailleurs de Pierre, you will reach the hidden side entrance to Le Tire-Bouchon. Now, this area is undoubtedly the most heavily touristic area of Strasbourg, and probably the best place to get ridiculous Stork...

We are always a bit sceptic about restaurants near hot spots like Strasbourg cathedral. Often one will get mediocre food at painful prices . Le Tire Bouchon serves typical french bistro meals of high quality without "tourist-surcharge". Service is friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant can only be described as romantic. They offer different wines in the pitcher -...

Everywhere you have wood, the atmosphere is ancient. Not far from the Cathedral, right place for a rest after...

While they finally taking orders, the lady answered several phone calls, talked to the other incoming customer, thus took the order so wrong, and after over an hour late (!) they even brought the entree and plat at the very same time. the table was small so of...
