A Sunday lunch menu that doesn't really provide value for money in a slightly out of the way location that the effort to find would be justified if the food were out of the ordinary. An iles flottante that was more about presentation than taste and a main course of white fish that was very ordinary, though the foie gras... More

I ate here with my wife and I have to say the food was outstanding. My fried oysters with coconut foam was as good as it gets. The beef main course was stunning and the wine reasonably priced and of equal high standard. The service was efficient and friendly without ever being intrusive. I am a hard person to please,... Went several times with children at lunch or friends for dinner. The food is excellent and service Great. One time I have been misled by the restaurant chef 's wife who offered my kids their preferred meal while the lunch menu was around 30 eur , the meals and single scoop ice cream was charged full price a la carte... We always dine here when in Biarritz. It really is the only restaurant good enough for us to dine with the exception of the restaurants in le palais hotel. The food is always freshly cooked in delicious unusual ways. I cannot understand whey they don't have a Michelin star. The wines are excellent and man local. The only problem I... More

Excellent food and service, expect to pay 60 to 80 Euros for food, but worth it. One of the few restaurants that asked us if we wanted a drink as soon as we sat down.

The staff are very attentive, and were happy to oblige to guests requests for something to be prepared in a slightly different way to that stated on the menu. The food is very fresh and perfectly prepared, with real attention to detail along the way. Menus are available in English if required. It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but it... More

We live in Spain and when travelling to France or the UK we often stop off in Biarritz overnight. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we made a point of stopping off again on our return journey. Some people seem to take exception to the owner, which I find difficult to understand. On both occasions we found both the... More

The one which I will always remember for its terrible service. They gave us a table near the kitchen. When I asked about another one, the lady told me, that she had no other tables as well as time to discuss it....

This small restaurant is very unique in style and with a different menu on every visit over the past 3 years I never cease to be impressed. Why oh why does the owner have to be so dominant when I don't like something. She cannot accept any criticism. I am the customer and she should listen to me. I do... More
