Description: LAromatik restaurant in Paris 9th arrondissement a short stroll from the theatre district is a mythic Art Deco bistrot dating from the 1930s, with all the style and elegance of that era. With its original moulding and tiles, coloured windows, soaring pillars and mirrors, and sophisticated colour scheme, LAromatik leads you straight into the heart of the jazz era. The global menu, however, is no antique. Touching on exotic cuisines of the world, the chef offers exciting dishes like Maki Aromatik, foie gras and apple candy in green sesame seeds, monkfish pot au feu with saffron. Intriguing wine list features expeditions into a wine of the month. Jazz plays softly in the background. LAromatik has soul.

This neighborhood restaurant is an absolute gem, with a very, very talented chef constantly renewing his menu with inventive and delicious creations. The two-course daily special lunch at 17 euros is a wonderful value for money. Although the cheapest proposition on the lunch menu, the plat du jour is invariably the most special. I have been numerous times, and have... More

I met a friend at l'Aromatik today and was surprised to find it near my neighborhood but I'd never been. I looked at the website beforehand www.laromatik.com and was quite impressed. Not far from the big shopping stores, it's convenient if you want a restaurant close by but not near all the crowds. Small and cozy, we asked for a... More

Beautiful art deco interior and a recommendation from a passerby drew us in. Although 7.30 on a monday night we were the only patrons. Lucky then to have the undivided attention of the owner who gave us a rundown on the history of the room as well as his menu. A terrific meal ensued. Our 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed... More

This restaurant is an absolute gem. Our concierge organized our reservation for dinner prior to a moulin rouge show and we were blown away by this amazing restaurant. The food was delicious, we had the three course set menu which had a good range, although few options, of perfectly cooked and presented servings. The atmosphere is great and the wait... More

I wouldn't advise you to cross Paris but if you are in the area you could do worse than the brunch here. We like the restaurant in the evening so were curious to try the brunch. Three different types of brunch were available. wW shared the classic "English" breakfast (including those traditionally English pancakes and bagles!!!!) and the Aromatik brunch... More

We have been twice, both were excellent. Small place with huge results. Both the food and service are a dream. This is a super value that will not disappoint. Don't let the address fool you this is a low key family area not at all like much of Pigalle. Are friends Sean and Shannon are going a will provide photos... More
