Heading out on a Sunday morning to the Marais, and hoping we can hold off till we get there to eat breakfast. We happened upon the bakery cafe Korcarz, and sat inside. The staff were friendly and patient with us as they described the pastries and I had a pastry that I am still thinking of. It was a roulade... More

In the characteristic Jewish Quarter, very small restaurant but with very friendly staff. Jewish and French traditional cuisine.

Went here for 'dessert' after our experience at L'as du Fallafel just along the street and we shared a strudel au pavot which was divine. Service really friendly too and as we were here on purim the atmosphere was cheery.

Fun. Genial. Excellent pastries. Try the boureka - very tasty. Reasonably priced. Heart of the interesting Jewish district.

We went to Korcarz twice during our visit to Paris. The chocolate schneck was delicious. The service was very poor, with the staff on the rude side. It can get very busy and confusing, especially if you don't speak French.

We stayed in the Marais for four days and thought we'd have our kosher breakfast here every morning. In fact, the kitchen doesn't open until later, although the bakery opens before 8:00, so our dream of having omelettes in the a.m. wasn't realized. Instead, we bought pastries and bread (something different every day so we could sample as much as... More

I had been having so many rubbish meals during my recent 8 days in Paris that I decided on my last day to stock up on the lovely and luscious pastries from this long-established patisserie. They are all absolutely wonderful; a reason in itself to re-visit Paris soon!

We meandered to Marais on an early Sunday morning and couldn't resist a visit at Korcarz. While on TripAdvisor it says the cuisine is Israeli, the cuisine is actually part delicatessen and part tea/coffee house. We had a delicious omlette and bagels with cream cheese and lux. Coffee was fantastic. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. Great people watching!

Stbled upon this fine pastry shop in the Marais district. If you like pastries and baklava, look no further. They have a takeaway, bar counter and a few tables. Friendly staff. Highly recommended
