Fortunately we booked with "the fork" so got a discount on an early sitting. Pretty food but taste was ordinary. Service was good.
I had the escargot and the risotto. Both super creamy. Not overwhelming flavours or big portions, just right. I kept on raving about the creaminess and nuttiness of the cheese. All perfectly balanced. My husband liked his dishes but wasn't wowed. Then, the desert was a type of millefeuille that wasn't that good. The cherry and the cream worked together,... More
When we came with our 2 kids, the manager asked us to keep our girls calmly on theirs chaises and not allow to talk loudly because his restaurant is a quite place. He was extremely aggressive and arrogant. He was acting like we came and eat for free. By the way, the menu is extremely expensive, count 20 euro for... More
Great service. Starters ordered were quite scarce, but the main dishes were totally satisfactory - all our dishes were well done and tasty. The restaurant has quite a charming decor with a nice ambience to be enjoyed in the company of friends or your partner. Would repeat!
I went here with my girlfriend for my birthday and we were both blown away by the service, atmosphere and most importantly the food. We had a three course meal from the set menu and the wine pairing. I had the most incredible foie gras, beautiful scallops, and for pudding two giant profiteroles! She had smoked salmon, seared tuna and... More
Went there with a "La Fourchette" discount (30€ menu). The place was nice, the service ok, the wine was good. The only good food for me was the starters : very good (oeufs de caille mollets et dés de foie gras, foie gras). My main dish (Espadon with fondue de poireaux) was not good at all : the leeks were... This restaurant provides very tasty dishes of outstanding quality for very fair prices. Alternatives in that Price Range are Hard Todfeind in Paris. Preparation, presentation and service is excellent. The only weaker point is the wine list. Very limited and highly priced Selektion. Nevertheless a very much recommendable restaurant where you will not be disappointred.
Booked a deal on line via The Fork website. Included glass of champagne, glass wine, coffee or tea and 3 courses. Good range of choices including generous portion of duck foie gras. Were held up and phoned to apologise so no problem when we arrived an hour late..but do warn them in advance. It probably delayed our service somewhat but... More
I booked this restaurant through The Fork and with it a 3 course meal + drink for €36. What a find! We loved it, the food was superb and a little bit different, presented beautifully. I had tandoori prawns to start, roast cod for main and lovely chocolate dessert. Couldn't fault the food at all and the wine was lovely.... More
Had a wonderful meal here last night. After walking past a dozen times and seeing the place closed for summer holiday, we booked at lunchtime for the evening service as soon as it re-opened, and requested a window seat as previous reviews had noticed it can be a bit warm inside. Arrived to a warm welcome, English menus (without request)... More
